Obituary for Charles Edward "Chuck" Pollard

Charles Edward “Chuck” Pollard was born on October 14, 1962 to Catherine Woody-Pollard and the late Henry Warren Pollard, Jr. “Chuck,” as he was affectionately called, started his life out in Roselle, New Jersey. The family moved to Elizabeth, New Jersey where he entered into the Elizabeth Public School system. Later, he entered the Newark Public School system and prior to his transition he lived in Rahway, New Jersey.

We are missing a son, a brother, a friend and a confidant and who was appreciated for all that he added to our lives. We will continue to live with Chuck’s spirit in our lives forever.

Chuck pursued his life’s dream by enrolling at Apex Automotive School in New York for Diesel and Automotive Mechanic where he graduated a Master Mechanic.

He was also a man of many talents! There were times as a family, we would be watching television game show and Chuck answered every question that was asked. This is a special gift that only can be GOD given.

Chuck would help anyone and did. He was considered by many as a loyal friend to all who knew him.

Our Father loaned Chuck to US for a short time and oh what a time we had.

Charles is survived by his mother, Catherine Woody Pollard (Rahway, NJ); brothers: Henry Warren Pollard III (Orlando, FL) and Gary Harvey Pollard; sister, Linda Pollard (Berkley Heights, NJ); fiancée, Attorney Carolyn Barnes (Rahway, NJ); nephew, Anthony Pollard (Morocco); nieces: Myeisha S. C. Pollard and Aniayah Pollard (Hillside, NJ); great-nephews and nieces, and a host of family members and dear friends.

The Pollard family wishes to say THANK YOU to ALL, near and far, we wish to be here and those in attendance for your outpouring of love. We will continue to shine a light that will illuminate your path.

A Poem to my BROTHER

The moment you left me my heart split in two, one side filled with memories, the other side gone with you. I often lay awake at night when the world is fast asleep and take a walk down memory lane with tears upon my cheeks.

Remembering you is easy, I do it every day. But missing you is a heartache that will never go away. I hold you tightly within my heart and there you will remain. You see like will go on and it will never be the same.

I love you always.

Your sister,
Linda
