Obituary for Justine Patricia "Patty Ann" Fish

Justine Patricia "Patty Ann" Fish was born on March 17, 1953 in Elizabeth, New Jersey, daughter of the late George Fish, Sr. and Agnes Fish. “Patty Ann,” as her friends and family called her, grew up in Roselle, New Jersey with her siblings. She was the 13th child of 14 children, the baby girl of the family.

Patty Ann attended Abraham Clark High School where she received her high school diploma. She worked for the Linden Board of Education for 5 years as a teacher’s aide for special education. The kids she worked with loved and respected her. Patty Ann worked for Merck and Company for over 25 years before retiring in 2018.

She was baptized at First Baptist Church, under the leadership of Reverend Alfred E. Brown where she served on the Usher Board, Missionary Society and Activities committee. After moving to Dover, DE in 2014, Patty Ann became a member of Lifting Up Holy Hands Ministries for Jesus Christ under the leadership of Apostle Marionette Watkins. She rededicated her life to the Lord and was filled with the Holy Ghost. While at Lifting Up Holy Hands Patty Ann served on the Mother Board. She always had a smile on her face and touched the lives of those whom she knew and loved. Patty Ann would do anything for anyone who asked. Patty Ann especially loved her “4 girls.” Everyone she talked to knew she had 4 girls and love them. Patty Ann had a great love for her grandson, Jakai McLeroy.

On Thursday, May 10, 2018, the Angels came to her bedside to bring her home to be with the Lord. Patty Ann took flight and went home.

She was predeceased by her father, George Fish Sr.; mother, Agnes Bell Fish; brothers: Edward Fish, Roderick Fish, Barry Fish, Walter Fish, Albert Fish and George Fish Jr.; one sister, Carol Myers and one sister deceased at birth.
